notes from
the MUCK . . .

How does your garden grow? With muck, muck and more muck! I spent much of today finishing the final muck box and then shifting muck from one box to the next. The first box, which the Big Lad is enthusiastically pointing out, has been rotting down for two years now and once we’d removed the top quarter of unrotted material, we found we’d hit the pay dirt.

Election Day!

It has already been widely reported by news agencies and blogs alike that Dubya has decided to stick his nose into the democratic business of Virginia's gubernatorial I won't rehash the details here.

However, I would like to highlight my personal favorite quote from our great leader on the matter. This is what Bush had to say about Kilgore:

"The thing I like about this fellow is he grew up on a farm..."

That's right, voters, if you were somehow sitting on the fence about today's race, just remember that simple fact and you'll know what to do when you get to the polls. The answer lies within, and apparently it's wearing overalls.

For the record, I'm kidding. Vote for Kaine.
