notes from
the MUCK . . .

How does your garden grow? With muck, muck and more muck! I spent much of today finishing the final muck box and then shifting muck from one box to the next. The first box, which the Big Lad is enthusiastically pointing out, has been rotting down for two years now and once we’d removed the top quarter of unrotted material, we found we’d hit the pay dirt.

And as I go, I love to sing, a knapsack on my back...

Valder-REEEEEEEEEEEE, Valder-RAAAAAAAAAAA, ok enough of the hapless wanderer shit, there's far too many notes from idle wanderers, or lonely wanderers, or puzzled wanderers in the world of blogs but here's my adventures wandering aimlessly around my work place.

Since I told you about my dilemma with a disembodied head/wig in a window sighting on my way to work, I've been inundated with calls to publish the photos and probe deeper into this mystery. Ok, Niki was pretty enthusiastic, Jeff maybe a little less so, but I trust their good judgment, and so I took it upon myself to take some surveillance photos to share with you.

As you can see, the photos didn't come out at all well. This was down to a number of factors; my phone can't take great pictures, I had to take it quickly for fear of being caught stalking (by a potential murderer), and, to my chargrin, it seems to get the best picture you have to be in the middle of a fairly busy road. Nonetheless (is that really all one word?) you can kind of make out the blonde shape on the right. That's our head/wig. Here it is "close up":

Not too good is it? Well, I work tommorow and Friday, so I should get some more shots off.

While I was walking away bemoaning my shots, I wondered to myself if the fact that I could only get a decent shot of the head/wig in the middle of the road was mere coincidence. I decided not to kill this thought with silly assumptions and proceeded to work.

At lunch, I wanted to check the graveyard out to take a picture of the mirror reflecting the tombstones behind me to see if any ghostly apparition appeared. Lo and behold, the mirrored window had been taken away, or painted over, so it was far less reflective...hmmmm, coincidence?? I'm beginning think someone's one step ahead of me here...I walked into the graveyard, and, by an old tombstone (note to self, find out date on it), I saw this:

Weird no? A saucepan next to a gravestone. Far be it from me to tell people how to express their grief, it's an intimate, personal thing that is not to be taken lightly. But why a saucepan? Vandalism? If it is, it's the lamest, or most abstract piece of vandalism I've ever seen. I feel I'm left with only one explanation, someone, or something is trying to communicate with me somehow, and I feel it is the soul of our head...what though, WHAT is it trying to tell me/us?? Ican't decipher the clues; I have to be in the middle of a road to picture it, the once reflective window has been dulled, and a saucepan by a grave...It's clear they are connected in some way but how.

As I write this, I marvel at the thought that I once would dismiss this as just a bunch of shit that happens, and calmly make the judgement that there is no connection between the phenomenon whatsoever...

I'm going to open up comments for theories on what I've seen. Best believe there'll be more pictures tommorow of the wig/head for more clues. I'd also like to offer the comments section to the deranged soul that is trying to communicate with me/us through randomn and bizaare signs as a medium to get across it's message in a more direct manner.

Till next time.
