notes from
the MUCK . . .

How does your garden grow? With muck, muck and more muck! I spent much of today finishing the final muck box and then shifting muck from one box to the next. The first box, which the Big Lad is enthusiastically pointing out, has been rotting down for two years now and once we’d removed the top quarter of unrotted material, we found we’d hit the pay dirt.

White Rabbit

I've been reading Stephen King's On Writing and came across this little passage:

Look - here's a table covered with a red cloth. On it is a cage the size of a small fish aquarium. In the cage is a white rabbit...On its back, clearly marked in blue ink, is the numeral 8.

I immediately thought of that episode of Lost where they soul-neuter Sawyer. Remember this:

That's right. I caught my first Lost Stephen King allusion this morning...Sir.

UPDATE: According to lostpedia.org, this is an "obvious reference."
