notes from
the MUCK . . .

How does your garden grow? With muck, muck and more muck! I spent much of today finishing the final muck box and then shifting muck from one box to the next. The first box, which the Big Lad is enthusiastically pointing out, has been rotting down for two years now and once we’d removed the top quarter of unrotted material, we found we’d hit the pay dirt.

E.U. Love U.S.

So Britain are going mad for one young black male from the U.S. with a gift for the spoken word.

If anyone was wondering how Jay Z performed at Glastonbury following Noel Gallagher's swipe, he did pretty well*.

His entrance preceded by this video montage he came out in conciliatory mood.

I found it hard to sit still as I watched it, and cursed my fear of festival toilets for preventing me being there. Nevertheless, I had a ticked to see him later that week and I was pretty excited.

Lilly Allen did NOT rock the show.

This is as close as I got. My bladder was really hurting at this point.

So it was I made to fight my way through this crowd when "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" started. I was not popular and it was the most frustrating pee I ever had.

This was pretty cool. He played "Heart of the City" on top of U2's "Bloody Sunday".

Maybe not up there with some of these performances, but it was good to see anywho.

*And they're pretty keen on Barack Obama too!!!
