How does your garden grow? With muck, muck and more muck! I spent much of today finishing the final muck box and then shifting muck from one box to the next. The first box, which the Big Lad is enthusiastically pointing out, has been rotting down for two years now and once we’d removed the top quarter of unrotted material, we found we’d hit the pay dirt.

Simpsons Halloween Episode Sends Up 'Mad Men'

You should definitely get on the Mad Men bandwagon if you haven't already. It has filled the void left by shows like The Wire, Six Feet Under, Deadwood, and The Sopranos. In fact, Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner was a writer/producer for the later seasons of The Sopranos, a job he secured when David Chase read the pilot spec for Mad Men. HBO, by the way, subsequently passed on Mad Men, a decision I'm sure they're kicking themselves over on the reg.

Anyways, here's one of the smartest shows on TV paying homage to what just might be the smartest show on TV:
