notes from
the MUCK . . .

How does your garden grow? With muck, muck and more muck! I spent much of today finishing the final muck box and then shifting muck from one box to the next. The first box, which the Big Lad is enthusiastically pointing out, has been rotting down for two years now and once we’d removed the top quarter of unrotted material, we found we’d hit the pay dirt.

Thoughts Arrive Like Butterflies

12:02 AM. Watching 1972's BUTTERFLIES ARE FREE...

Thought One: Goldie Hawn was insanely cute in her 20s, but insanely scary in her childhood and in her 60s. To wit:

Thought Two: I must have a thing for big eyes.

Thought Three: Edward Albert was rad. He reportedly had an IQ of 157.

Thought Four: Is being blind really such a gas? This movie is about a looker of a girl with huge eyes and a guy who can't see at all.

Thought Five: MOST IMPORTANTLY, they just talked about a (fictional) children's book character named Donnie Dark.

Donnie Dark, folks. There you have it.

Thought Six: The bunny costume really isn't very scary unless it's shrouded in creepy shadows.
