Blog's back...but
probably not for long. I always had faith that as long as the Pistons got to the playoffs, they'd have a chance of going all the way. Now we just scraped into the 8
th berth, but
could've qualified as high as 5, meaning we face Matt's beloved
Cavs things feel a bit different.
Damn it.
Of course I hope that Wallace*
et al get themselves together, forget the follies of the
Iversson era, and rally to overcome these almost insurmountable odds. Not that I don't like the
Cavs. Not that I don't want them to win it because I think that
Lebron deserves a championship and I'd like him to do it with
Cleavland. It's mostly because I don't want Ben Wallace, my former hero, to feel vindicated when he turned down a franchise record offer from the Pistons to go for more bucks in Chicago. To see him with the Larry again, after all that's passed under the bridge, would be too much.
So, time for that huddle Pistons, set aside the shackles of this forlorn season, show the league that
Stuckey CAN be a replacement for
Billups, and lets send these Cavaliers packing...please.
Long time no see Judas. Let's dance you and me...
*The cool one, not the money grabbing one.
